Sergio Alvarez works as Cyber Risk Manager at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). He is a risk management professional who specialises on technology and cybersecurity issues, including security architecture & governance, operations, incident management and threat intelligence. Worked in the past for Bank of New York Mellon and AXA. He has also been involved in projects on risk quantification analysis using Artificial Intelligence techniques.

Sergio holds a postgraduate from the University of Cambridge on science communication and is member of Charter Institute of Information Security (CIISec), Information Security Forum (ISF), British Computer Society (BCS) and US based Information Security professional association ISACA. He is Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
